Gumbo FAQ

Hi There!

Thank you to everyone who has become a listener to my podcast “A Mysterious Gumbo!” It really means a lot to me that you are supporting this new and very exciting artistic endeavor of mine. I am kind of blown away by the interest and comments I have been receiving since the first chapter launched the first week of August! I can’t believe we are ready to launch Chapter Two next Thursday.

I thought I might answer a few of the frequently asked questions I have been getting about the project here, if you are interested. The big question is “How many chapters is Season One?” Season One is called “The Sinister Muck” and is 16 chapters long. Every month we will launch two chapters. We premiere new episodes on the first and third Thursday of the month. That will take us through to the beginning of March 2017.

Which brings us to the next big question I get. “What happens after Season One?” Great question! We start Season Two, which is also 16 chapters long. We will also be launching the novel for Season One at the start of Season Two. The novel has some really cool stuff, including illustrations, original recipes from the shows, and a lot of the background work used to create the podcast. I hope you will check it out!

Next question: “How many seasons you got planned so far?” So far, ten seasons. Not joking. Almost done writing all the scripts for Season Two and moving straight into Season Three. The awesome thing is I have been working on the concept for this project for many years so there is so much material I have wanted to cover. It’s a blast getting to put it all down on paper, record it, and produce it.

Last question: “Is it all one story or is each season a separate story?” The answer is yes. Seriously though, each season is a complete story (which I really love that format) but all of the seasons are contributing to a much larger story that is happening. It’s fun writing it like that.

Anyway, thank you again for being a part of this thing. I really hope you enjoy where it is going. If you like it – please give us a great review on iTunes or tell some of your best friends!

Thanks again for making this dream a reality!
